Websites for small organizations

A real website for your church, nonprofit, or family business — built once, maintained quietly, owned by you.

For the kind of organization that doesn't have an internal tech person, the choice usually comes down to three bad options: a Wix template that almost works, a friend-of-a-friend who ghosts halfway through, or an agency that quotes more than your annual budget. We're the fourth option.

What you get

A real custom-designed website, built with the same modern tools we use for everything else we ship. Fast, accessible, search-engine-friendly, easy to update without calling us every time.

Who this fits

  • Churches that want service times, sermons, giving, and a real calendar — in one place that actually loads on a phone.
  • Nonprofits that need a site that earns trust with grant-makers and donors, not just a brochure.
  • Family businesses that have outgrown a free template but don't want to take on a marketing department.

What it's not

We don't do e-commerce platforms with thousands of SKUs. We don't do five-figure brand identity packages. We don't do marketing strategy. If you need any of those, we can refer you to people we trust.

How an engagement runs

A conversation first. Before anything is quoted, we talk about what the organization actually needs. Some of these calls end with us telling you that you don't need a new website — you need three pages fixed on the one you have. That's a fine outcome.

A fixed scope, agreed up front. We write down what's being built, what isn't, and what we need from you. Most of the risk in a small project is scope drifting until nobody knows what "done" means, so we decide that before starting.

Content is the long pole. The build is rarely what holds a project up — it's usually waiting on photos, service times, staff bios, and the copy nobody has written yet. We'll tell you exactly what we need and when, because the projects that go quickly are the ones where that arrives early.

You review it running, not in a slide deck. You'll have a live link well before launch, on a real phone, with your own content in it.

Then it launches, and we're still here. The last thing we do is show you how to update it yourself.

Who owns what

You do. The domain stays in your name, the code is yours, and if you ever want to take it somewhere else, we'll help you move it rather than making it difficult. We've both seen what happens when a small organization discovers its website is hostage to a vendor who stopped answering email.

After launch

Two things tend to be true of a small organization's website: it needs small changes fairly often, and it needs someone to notice when something breaks. We offer ongoing maintenance for that — updates, security patches, and a person who answers when the contact form stops working. It's optional. Some clients take it, some hand the keys to a capable volunteer, and both are fine.

What it costs

It depends on scope, and we'd rather scope it honestly than publish a number that's wrong for you. What we can promise: you'll get a fixed price before any work starts, not an hourly meter, and we'll tell you early if your budget and your requirements don't line up — while you still have time to do something about it.

Tell us what you need and we'll give you a straight answer, including if the answer is that we're not the right fit.
